                                         HONOR YOUR HOME: small steps
matter

The Rye Energy Committee, in collaboration with the Seacoast Science
Center and Clean Air Cool Planet, announces its third annual art and
energy project: Honor Your Home.

To take part in this initiative, you must be a resident of Rye and
commit to taking three or more actions to lessen your carbon
footprint. Once committed, participants will be “honored” by having an
artist paint a picture of their home. The artwork will be on exhibit
and for sale at the Seacoast Science Center from November 12-December
16. Proceeds from the sale of the artwork support REC, SSC and local
artists.

For the first thirty households that sign-up the SSC is offering a
free one time pass to the Center to be used at any time. Not only are
they offering Rye residents a free pass if they choose to participate
in HYH, but they are also offering free admission to the Center on the
Green Saturday Mornings programs. These programs will focus on how
you can reduce your carbon footprint, how to take the NECC, and
several other ways to help slow down climate change.

Call or email now, Mimi White, 964-6586, mimiwhite at earthlink.net to be
one of the first to sign up and get your one free Seacoast Science
Center pass.
