For those who may be interested in a new offering.... sounds good!  
This is taking place at South Church (UU) in Portsmouth on State St.

Menu for the Future

………food, food and sustainability, food choices, sustainable food  
choices, sustainable agriculture, industrial agriculture, local food,  
locavore, food and health, food and culture, food systems, food  
communities, creating food communities…………

Menu for the Future, is a six-session course exploring the connection  
between food and sustainability.

Discussion Course Goals:

• To explore food systems and their impacts on culture, society and  
ecological systems.

• To gain insight into agricultural and individual practices that  
promote personal and ecological well-being.

• To consider your role in creating or supporting sustainable food  
systems.

A course will begin at South Church in the Library on Wednesday  
October 22nd.  It will continue on Oct 29th, November 5th, 12, 19 and  
December 3rd, from 7:00 to 8:30.  Books cost $20.00, which is  
refundable on return of an unmarked book.  Pre registration is  
required so we know how many books to have available. Register by
