	OUR VISION
	We envision a regional community where all people are emotionally and physically healthy.

 

	GOALS
	All citizens will have access to prevention and treatment services for mental and physical heallth - including those with low incomes and no insurance.   Access to care: Increase the number of primary care providers who accept new MaineCare patients. Access to care: Increase the number of adults with brain disorders who receive treatment. Substance Abuse: Decrease substance use among 6th graders. Substance Abuse: All KEYS towns will have a tobacco free recreation policy. Prevent Disease: Reduce the number of adults who are overweight or obese.

Sixth graders who have used alcohol within the past 30 days is 8% for the current year. Goal is to reduce to 5%.

4. Prevent Disease

Adults who are overweight and/or obese in York County: 60.3% in 2005 (goal is 50% by 2015)

Adolescents who are overweight and/or obese in York County: 11% in 2005 (goal is 8% by 2015)
