	OUR VISION
	We envision a regional community where all our children and youth are successfully educated, and all our citizens are supported in their life-long learning.

 

	GOALS
	All KEYS children will be ready to enter school and the schools will be ready for all children. The KEYS region schools will offer services to underserved students on a regional basis, including extended school year (summer school), vocational education, alternative education, recreational offerings, preschool therapies, and adult education. KEYS students will graduate from high school with a plan for the future, ready for further education, the workforce, and citizenship. The KEYS region schools will have an expanded centralized purchasing system so that all KEYS school districts can save money by using economies of scale.

 

	NEXT STEPS
	Continue to study pros and cons of Pre-K and full day K programs Support professional development in early childhood education, for preschools, Pre-K, and K. Continue to look for ways to save the district money through centralized purchasing.
